Ridgeback Element, Open Frame, 2011
The Ridgeback Element is built around a lightweight 6061 aluminium frame that has all the bosses for mudguards, racks and bottles.The fork is carbon fibre, which serves to dampen vibration and makes for a comfy ride.Rugged and reliable Shimano Alivio components are used for the gears and brakes, and all the parts, right down to the box-section rims and puncture resistant tyres, are chosen for practical resilience for urban commuter riding.
