Giant's world-renowned and World Championship winning XTC cross-county race mountian bike applies a compact, manoeuvrable geometry to the classic hardtail genre.
Based on the pro-level carbon XTC Advanced but built on an Aluxx SL alloy frame to bring the price down to a sensible amount, the aluminium versions of the range continue the ethos of light weight, responsive, clean and unencumbered design designed for going fast off-road, with the added compliance of Giant's high grade aluminium for extra comfort on a longer ride.
Perfect for XC and Enduro racing, weekend trail carving or anyone who wants to enjoy the responsive feel of a really fast hardtail MTB.
The XTC 2 is a step up the range from the entry-level model and totally worth the slightly higher price tag as it benefits from a sturdier, stiffer bottom bracket for added efficiency under strain, Rockshox Recon Solo Air forks and Shimano SLX shifters, so is upgraded in the important places with only a modest price rise.
