Giant Defy 3, Road Bicycle, 2012
The Giant Defy 3 2012 is designed around the higher model of Giants bikes and this gives the Defy the high grade, light weight, stiff Aluxx SL aluminium frame and is the reason why the Giant Defy 2012 is so good and fast giving you the perfect training bike for the winter, or just the commute to and from work the Giant Defy is a great bike.
A step up from the entry level bike, and as such features an upgrade to Shimano Sora 18 speed gearing, Also features a Shimano Sora 24/50 chainset, lighter Giant branded rims to keep the rolling weight down and forks for real long distance vibration damping.
The graphics look great this year as well, with the striking looks of the front end picked out in the wheel rims for a rounded look. The confident handling and 'comfort road' positioning mean the Defy is just as at home on long club rides as it is on race days.
