The XTC range is designed simply to go as fast as possible on an XC course.
This is a well established range that benefits from being tweaked and developed over the last few years, and Giant's giant resources have shaped the XTC frameset into a responsive, durable, fast off-road hardtail that also looks great with it's clean lines and classic styling.

No Frills - Built For Speed.
The aggressive hardtail racing geometry and XC forks ensure that no effort is wasted when pedaling. These machines are stripped down for minimal weight and the handling has been designed to take fast corners with the same degree of control as tight technical sections.

To be honest, if you're looking for a cross country style hardtail bike you'd have to be mad not to want an XTC, so all you have to do is decide which model is for you.

'Entry-Level' never looked this good.
The XTC 4.5 is the staple model from Giant's aluminium hardtail line-up, built using Giant's standard-setting fluid formed Aluxx aluminium and sporting a component set that would not be out of place on a bike at twice this price, including hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano Deore gearing.

Everything on this bike has been thought out carefully to give the best compromise between performance and value for money, and as always Giant have amazed us at producing a bike built from such great components at the price they have, which is equally at home on a fun trail ride or in a XC race situation.
