The Lisa HT is a hardtail for thrashing about on the trail or racing.
 
The Kona Lisa comes with the same indestructible Aluminium Butted frame as on the caldera but the geometry has been completely changed to improve the riding experience of female riders.
The reach is the main thing that riders will notice as the top tube has been shortened to improve the handling and comfort. The bike comes with the same Marzocchi MZ Race forks with 100mm of travel that will soak up impacts superbly.
The running gear is taken care of by Shimano Deore/XT gears with specialist FSA looking after the chainset and furnishing the bike with shorter cranks to improve pedaling.
WTB supply the stem, seatpost and bars with a specific women’s saddle.
The braking system is Hayes' Excellent HFX-9 XC W6 hydraulic, with shorter reach levers which help with braking control on the trail.

What you get with this bike is a superb frame and quality components, all designed to fit the different specifications of female riders.
This bike may be designed for a lady but the designers have obviously had a bit of a lesson on the trail from the Kona women’s team as at its heart the bike remains designed to be ridden off road and ridden hard.
It is great fun with great handling and direct feedback from the Aluminium hardtail frame.
If you are a lady looking for a hard wearing bike that will take some punishment but is equally at home on the XC race course then the Kona Lisa could be it.
