The 2008 incarnation of the 586 is the result of Look's continued development in search of light weight aerodynamics that don't comprimise stiffness.

This year Look have built their top end frames up into complete bike packages with a heavy bias towards SRAM groupsets. Components from the Rival and Force ranges can often be rather expensive compared to Shimano and even Campagnolo equivalents when bought seperately, but when included on a bike they offer fantastic performance and reliability and a refreshing and long awaited alternative to the big two road bike component brands.
