This is my bike, not another one of his hand me downs.  In 2007 Marin started from scratch to create a range of bikes that fit the shape of a woman's body better than ever before and their Women's Fit Geometry (WFG) is the result.  Typically, a woman's body is proportioned differently than a man's.  Her longer legs relative to her torso may mean that some women fit better on a bike adjusted for these factors than a standard unisex frame.

Marin's engineers have designed the frame of the bicycle to fit a woman's body better, along with choosing parts and accessories that put all the contact points in exactly the right place for improved comfort and control.  With the same attention to detail as their other models, Marin use custom drawn and butted tubesets in each size to tailor the ride feel.  This means that every size frame rides with the same comfort and performance charecteristics and offers a class leading ride feel.

Based on customer feedbac, Marin have also designed a custom handlebar and unique grip system that is slightly smaller in diameter for smaller hands to comfortably hold onto without excessive fatigue.  Exclusive to Marin are a set of eccentric shims that allow the brake levers and shifters to be positioned independantly in the most ergonomic positions for performance and comfort.

The all-new 2010 Marin Mount Vision is solid, lightweight and a truly powerful trail tool.  Marin have not compromised in its design, setting out to make the most capable full suspension bike in the world, built around Quad Link 2.0, the most effective and reactive suspension system available today.  Marin have fine tuned the geometry and optimized every frameset to give you a bike that is superbly stiff, capable of carving the singletrack, climbing efficiently and descending with control.  The Mount Vision will encourage and reward you in equal measure.

Marin use hydroformed 6066 aluminium to minimize the amount of material used in constructing their frames, shedding weight while the massive weld interfaces at the tube junctions give unsurpassed stiffness.  The 4-Bar/4-Bolt nature of the Quad Link system is the only example using just 4 through bolts giving a stiffer and lighter solution than other designs.  Further to this the linkages are the stiffest on the market. Short links react quickly leading to rapid, controlled changes in pivot location and instant response to bump and pedal loads.
