Giant Anthem 3.5 travel Aluxx aluminium XC race frame.

The Anthem frame is set up specifically to achieve maximum speed over a cross country course, so works fantastically on trails and tracks as it is tuned to traverse lumps and bumps without losing pedaling power.
This is the same frame used by Olympic/World Cup XC rider Oli Beckinsale, except Oli has the added advantage of having the carbon version, saving weight and adding stiffness, but then he gets given his bikes free by Giant, so he doesn't have to consider the expense.

The Anthem makes effective use of Giant's technically advanced and critically aclaimed Maestro suspension system, consisting of four strategically positioned pivot points (eight total bearings) and two linkages to create a floating pivot point that improves pedaling efficiency by counteracting forces that would otherwise create suspension compression (pedal-bob).

At the same time, Maestro also features suspension sensitivity even under harsh braking so there’s no loss in braking power or traction. The more sensitive the suspension, the better the traction, the more efficiently power is transferred to the ground.

The 3.5 inch travel version of the Maestro system that features in the Anthem frame is a great way of coping with both high-frequency trail vibrations and heavy hitting compressions.
