Spare chainrings are designed to be used with compatible chainsets for use on single speed BMX cycles. With the bikes using single speed gears, the cyclist’s only option for riding on a different gearing is to change either the ring on the cranks or the sprocket on the rear wheel. This will provide a different gear ration, enabling the rider to ease the gearing for tricks or increase it for racing.
