The B17 Special takes Brooks' classic, enduring design and builds it around a copper frame instead of the usual steel. This doesn't make a noticable weight difference (adds about 15 grams!), but gives a very nice traditional look to the saddle, particularly with the pleasing effect of the hand-hammered copper rivets, which compliment the black version nicely and work even better with the green leather finish that is specific to this model of the B17.

As with the standard B17 this hand made saddle has a leather upper, which is held in place by large copper rivets and it has chamfered sides.
A great saddle for long distance sportives and touring, and since it is designed to stay comfortable throughout a month long trek it will certainly stand up to a daily commute.
