The XTR brake lever has received a cosmetic makeover for 2007 and comes in two models.
The BL-M970 is to be used with XTR V-brakes and the BL-M975 is for the XTR hydraulic disc brake calipers.

So, for the traditionalists out there riding with V-brakes, the M970 enables genuine top quality and performance in a familiar V-brake setup.
The BL-M975 lever for hydraulic disc brakes has been designed to accommodate the brake hose to any handlebar.
There is also a reach adjustment, so that they can be customised to the individual rider.
