The SLR T1 is a version of the ever polar SLR range which has been especially designed for the needs of riding against the clock.

Ahead by a nose.

When in the aero position when racing either in a Time Trial or a triathlon the natural tendency is to drift forward onto the nose of the saddle when pulling on the tri bars. Most saddles are not designed for this and so the padding tends to be positioned where the sit bones rest on the middle or back of the saddle shell. This can mean that for some riders while in the aero position can get very sore and become uncomfortable. This makes sitting for prolonged periods of time in the position hard causing the rider to move around and breaking the aero profile and also make it harder to get the power down correctly. 

The T1 has an extra wide nose and extra padding so that sitting on the nose becomes much more comfortable which is especially noticeable on long TT's or long distance non drafting triathlons.
You still get the same lightweight design of the SLR with only 70g of extra weight added for all of that comfort.
This saddle has certainly been well thought out to relieve the pain of testing against the clock. The padding is soft but not as soft as other specialist saddles so you don't find yourself slipping off the nose. The nose is quite wide so may take some getting used to but once you do this is a great alternative for this specialist discipline.
