Frame-Fit Bicycle Pumps
In general there are two ways of increasing the pressure of a pump and the easing the pumping action itself. You can either increase the width, with a double action model, or increase the length of the air chamber to make the pump easier to use. Frame fit pumps follow the latter school of thought and are designed to be the length of the top tube of bike fitting at the lugs (or joins) between the tubes.
Sizing of Frame Pumps
Bikes obviously come in different sizes and so do the frame pumps, so be sure that when ordering you choose the correct size for your frame. Sizing information can be found on our detailed product pages or you can contact us for advice.
Valve Types
Most pumps will be compatible with both valve types; Presta or Schrader (car type). A simple unscrew of the nozzle and a turn around of a washer is all that is required to change the nozzle type. We stock many frame pumps from top manufacturers such as Blackburn.
