Colnago carbon. In budget. Live the dream!
The CLX has been designed and developed by Colnago in Italy, but manufacture has been outsourced to a production line in Taiwan.
The reduced cost of using a factory in the far-east means the CLX is an affordable, high performance carbon Colnago with an innovative frame design.
Some people prefer to pay the higher prices associated with an 'All-Italian' Colnago, which is nice, but you can't beat the consistant quality and reliability achieved at a high-tech, frighteningly efficient Taiwanese production facility.
Italian flare and pro performance.
CLX has a lovely looking monocoque front triangle designed and created in Cambiago, Italy as a project of Colnago Lab. The front triangle features twin external reinforcing ribs along the top tube, down tube and bottom bracket, while variable carbon lay up in areas like the head tube and bottom bracket where extra strength is needed provides additional rigidity under stress. These innovative design and structural features keep weight to a minimum without comprimising performance.
Classic Colnago design features.
Colnago's CLX has arc shaped rear brake stays for contolled braking performance and comfort, with rear chain stays in Colnago's distinctive leaf shape section.
A specially developed monocoque 1 1\8 CLX carbon fiber fork and Colnago AERO Carbon seat post that matches the aero section downtube also grace Colnago's new CLX.
The CLX is produced in a range of colours in Colnago's sloping geometry sizes to give a compact, high performance feel.
An ideal solution for riders that want an affordable, high-performance Colnago bicycle.
