With the medium sized version of the frame weighing in at an incredible 1.7lbs (770g), this aggressive frame is built for acceleration and speed, even up hill!
The top tube is an enhanced diamond oval with ridge stiffeners that counters lateral flex and torsion on even the most aggressive climb.
The down tube is bi-axially shaped to maximize force resistance at both ends while providing a super strong backbone.
A custom derailleur hanger mates perfectly with the ultra broad-based seat tube, while straight seat stays increase ride stiffness and handling characteristics. Chain stays are asymetrically engineered to maximise strength and power transfer during extreme acceleration.
The miniscule and super light dropouts are machined from billet titanium and feature a replaceable rear derailleur hanger for easy maintenance.
The crisp power transfer of the super light Ghisallo is enhanced by the PFT intersection at the bottom bracket. The massive down tube is vertically ovalized at the head tube to give incredible strength at that joint. Both the down tube and seat tube flatten at the bb to provide amazing stiffness through the power zones of your pedal stroke.
Note the sharp ridge lines on the sides of these tubes. This serves to counter the extreme torsion and bending forces that occur during climbing and sprinting.
