Bianchi Coast to Coast.
The C2C concept (Coast to Coast) is a recent, but already a very much appreciated concept.
It is conceived for the long-distance rider who does not want to give up comfort or performance.
Comfort is the key word.
The relaxed frame geometries of the C2C range make any of the Via Nirone bikes ideal as an intro into drop-handlebar cycling, or for the more experienced road bike rider the more upright and open upper body position results in a more naturally comfortable stance with easier breathing through the open shoulder positioning.
Material Technology.
The use of hydroformed aluminium tubing gives these bikes a great look as well as increasing stiffness and strength where it counts, and road vibration is minimised for an aluminium framed bike with the inclusion of the Bianchi's excellent FL5 K-Vid carbon forks, which consists of Kevlar inserts strategically positioned on the fork to eliminate and filter the vibrations coming from the road surface thus making riding less tiring and therefore making those long hours in the saddle more efficient.
Comfort Geometry.
The geometries offer a comfortable and relaxed position in the saddle, which open up the angles for the torso, neck and pelvis, critical points for the long-distance rider.
Via Nirone 7 is in triple butted 7000 series aluminium with new hydroformed sections and is produced in two versions: “pure” or with carbon seat stays, implemented with K-Vid technology.
The Campagnolo Xenon equipped version uses the all-aluminium frame coupled with carbon forks and FSA ZS4 cranks, so they have managed to retain the reliability of Campag components and the Via Nirone ride quality without pushing the price too high.
Perfect as a first road bike, or an intro to Bianchi
