Bianchi Cycling Heritage.
You could say that track bikes were the first bikes Bianchi ever made—although back then, multi-geared drive trains had yet to be invented. A lot has happened in bicycle technology these last 122 years, but the elemental simplicity of a fixed-gear bike is still hard to resist. Bianchi’s track bikes show how they have been doing them better and longer than anyone else.
Classic Single Speed.
Everything about their track bikes is dedicated to unfettered forward motion, and with all the details in perfect balance—frame stiffness, fit and geometry, and track-specific components—you’ll thrill to the instant gratification of direct-drive pedalling.
Think of these bikes as the ultimate expression of the technology of acceleration, from the company that’s been accelerating bicycle technology since the era before gears.
Proven design, high-tech construction.
Bianchi’s budget track bike has morphed into quite the versatile machine, even though the design is much the same as it’s always been.
The Pista is first and foremost built for the track, with a stout steel frame and correct geometry (high bottom bracket, shallow fork offset). But the Pista sees a lot of action away from the velodrome too, as a fixed-gear trainer, an urban messenger “work bike,” and an expression of personal style. Maybe you’ve seen one out there—you can’t miss the Pista’s two knockout colours.
