Dainese D-Raptor Freeride/Downhill helmet.
Dainese Heritage.
Founded by Lino Dainese (now company president) in 1972, Dainese s.p.a. began life as a motorcycle safety clothing manufacturer.
The company enjoyed great success through their philosophy for high safety standards, and became the preferred choice for international motorbike champions, including Brits Barry Sheen and Carl Fogarty.
Extreme Sports.
The 1990's saw Dainese expand their horizons, and apply the knowledge and techniques developed for motorcycle safety into other extreme sports, such as mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and watersports.
Protection.
Dainese have approached helmet construction from a motorbike point of view, then adapted their techniques to the specific needs of other sporting disciplines, so you can be confident in the safety performance of any of their cycle helmets. You really can't beat the protection offered by a Dainese full face bicycle helmet.
