Tackling The Harshest Conditions
Some pairs are designed for autumn or spring conditions where there is a chill in the air, while others are more heavily insulated with a windproof or waterproof outer material to enable the rider to tackle the harshest conditions that the winter has to offer. Full finger gloves also have to perform the important task of protecting the rider’s hands from wear and blisters caused by gripping the bars. They also defend the rider’s hands from obstacles on the trail and add a protective barrier when falling from the bike, as inevitably the hands are the first point of contact with the ground.
