Whether you choose baggy, lycra or bib, shorts can be the most important item of clothing for comfort on a bike as they are the main point of contact between your body and the bike. A well made and well fitted pair of shorts can make all the difference to your enjoyment of a ride. Lycra shorts may not be the most fashionable but are the best material to use while cycling as they don’t rub or chafe. As they are skin tight they won’t get caught on your bike allowing for completely free movement.
