Versatile, performance cold weather wear.
The Element one jersey fits nicely into the Assos winter range as a versatile layer that can be worn as warm inner layer for extreme days or an outer layer for chilly but not freezing mornings.
Anatomic cycling fit.
The jersey is tailored for cycling, designed not to bunch up when on the bike, and uses Assos’s superb wicking materials with a wind stopping new collar concept - The collar protects from the elements leaving a tiny little space between skin and textile with the elastic laminated black inserts on front collar and upper chest functioning as an Airblock panel.
The top has zipped safety pocket, reflective accents and new elastic added underneath pocket zone to stop the top riding up the riders back.
As with all Assos products the quality of the top is clear as soon as you try it on. When walking around it does feel a little tight in places but as soon as you get on the bike all becomes clear, as the top fits perfectly, giving enough room where it is needed.
Temperature control.
The airblock on the neck seemed to stop cold air from getting to the chest while the wicking properties of the rest of the material seemed to work well when an under-vest was worn to regulate the body’s temperature.
The top looks good and has plenty of room in the pockets for inner tubes, pump and food.
Wear elementOne in cooler conditions (Fall & Early Spring) as outer layer over your powerStatic Body Insulator.
When worn under a winter jacket you do feel that you could go polar exploring, and it could actually be a little too warm unless the weather is very severe.
As an outer garment however the top is hard to fault.
