Endura MT500 Waterproof Overshoes
MT500 is Endura's rugged mountain biking range, and the MT500 overshoes are built for durability in an off-road setting, meaning they should withstand a bit of rough treatment and last through a few wet seasons.
The upper is Nylon faced Neoprene®, a bit like a wetsuit, so properly waterproof.
They fit with a rear zip that has a snap-down puller and a Velcro® heel tab to ensure an adjustable, snug fit. The moulded rubber toe cap offers extra protection and has a grooved underside to help when climbing steep and/or muddy slopes on foot. The rest of the base has a durable Kevlar® facing and Kevlar® stitching for longevity, and the whole thing is finished with reflective logo and zip panels at the back, for the benefit of traffic behind you.
MT500 Overshoes are intended for SPD, clipped-in type shoes, having holes on the bottom for your heel and cleat area to protrude.
They could be worn with normal shoes and flat pedals, but in that case might wear out a lot quicker due to rubbing while pedalling and abrasion while walking to and from the bike.
