Giro Indicator, Bicycle Helmet
The Indicator has been a consitent best seller in Giro's helmet collection and as a result they have focussed their energy into keeping it up to date and maintaining the balance between performance, style and excellent value for money.
There are several other one-size-fits-all helmets of a similar price on the market, but the Indicator stands out due to Giro's unique Acu-Dial fit adjustment that easily tailors itself to your head size with a twist of the adjuster on the back of the helmet that tightens and loosens the headband as required, even one handed and on the move, while the adjustable chin straps add further security.
The construction uses in-moulded technology usually reserved for pricier lids to cleverly create the shell and internals as one strong piece that allows for the 20 airvents that are cunningly shaped to pull air through from the front to the back of the helmet and help minimise overheating.
Of course, when they say one size fits all that really means one size fits almost everyone. The Indicator adjusts to accommodate head sizes from 54 to 61 cm. You can find your size by measuring at the widest part of the head, just above the ears. This covers most people, but for those blessed with a smaller than average or gloriously large bonce you might find the Indicator is not for you. That's the one drawback with this helmet. Not absolutely everyone will fit it, just 99.9% of people.
Why not measure your head now? I bet it's more than 54cm and less than 61cm.
