Delivery
For delivery costs outside the UK, please
contact us.
Unfortunately we are not able to deliver to the US or Canada.
Delivery costs for the UK:
-
Bikes: £10.00 (extra charges will apply to parts of Scotland, Ireland, Northern
Ireland and the Isle of Wight)
-
Frames & forks: £7.00
-
Accessories, clothing and components: £4.00 per order (not per item)
Delivery is not included in the price of items shown on this site.
Where multiple items are delivered in one package, only the highest value
delivery charge will apply. For example a package containing a bike and a
helmet will incur a delivery charge of £10.00, not £14.00.
Although an alternative address can usually be accommodated we reserve the right
to restrict delivery to the cardholders statement address only.
In stock items will usually reach you within 2-3 working days. If an item is out
of stock deliveries can take longer. Similarly, during peak periods (for
example Christmas) we recommend you allow plenty of time for delivery. As
certain suppliers have longer lead times than others please allow up to 28 days
for delivery in the UK.

AW Cycles & WEEE Regulations
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
As cyclists we appreciate our environment and our impact on it. As a trusted cycle retailer we feel a direct responsibility through the relationships we have with our customers and the wider cycling community.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is intended to reduce the damaging effects of disposing of waste electrical equipment in landfills and encourage repair, recycling and proper disposal. The regulations give online retailers like AW Cycles a choice of how to comply, and we have chosen to fully commit by offering to take your old equipment in when you purchase new equipment from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new light from us we would accept their old light and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. This is an entirely free service, with no charge to you, the customer, so all you have to do is decide what to do with your unwanted equipment. When you buy any new electrical equipment from AW Cycles and are disposing of your old equipment you should do so in one of the following ways:
- Take your old equipment to your nearest municipal household waste recycling centre (council tip) where they can deal with it appropriately.
- Bring it to AW Cycles, if you are close enough to our shop in Caversham, Reading.
- Email AW Cycles to arrange postal collection. Depending on the size and weight of the item being posted we will either send you a pre-paid envelope in which to post it, arrange a courier collection or agree to refund the cost of posting it to us. If possible, it would help us if you include the make and model of the item, along with its approximate weight and dimensions.
